What You'll Do
-
You’ll investigate different areas of Dimbola alongside the DAW Paranormal team. Depending on the museum’s layout and conditions on the night, this may include Julia Margaret Cameron’s bedroom, the historic studio and gallery spaces.
Experiments may include:
- EMF and environmental monitoring
- EVP and audio sessions
- Thermal imaging
- Spirit-box or sensory-deprivation experiments
- Controlled vigils and trigger-object work
- SLS or traditional investigation techniques
We’ll show you how the equipment works and, if something unusual happens, we’ll also consider ordinary explanations before calling it paranormal.
Small Group Experience
-
Places are limited to a maximum of 20 guests, with smaller investigation groups used throughout the evening.
This reduces background noise and accidental interference, while giving everyone more opportunity to use the equipment, ask questions and take part directly.
Why Here?
-
Dimbola was the home and workplace of Julia Margaret Cameron, one of the Victorian era’s most influential photographers, and today contains recreated historic rooms, galleries and exhibition spaces.
On a previous DAW investigation, guests reported unexplained footsteps, unusual flashing and intermittent SLS figures in Julia’s bedroom. During mirror scrying, two participants also independently described similar changes in another person’s appearance.
We do not present these experiences as proof. They give us specific observations and locations to revisit under controlled conditions.
Our Approach
-
DAW Paranormal takes a balanced approach. We are interested in unusual experiences, but we do not assume every unexplained noise, equipment response or strange feeling is paranormal.
We look for ordinary explanations first and treat equipment responses as data rather than proof. Guests are encouraged to question what they experience and form their own conclusions.
We do not promise ghosts, guarantee activity or manufacture experiences for entertainment.
New to Paranormal Investigation?
-
You do not need any previous paranormal investigation experience.
We’ll explain how the evening works, introduce you to the equipment and guide you throughout. Participation is always your choice.
Believers, sceptics and simply curious guests are equally welcome.
Don't Just Take Our Word For It!
