Paranormal Research & Investigation

DAW Paranormal investigates reports of unusual and apparently paranormal phenomena through repeated observation, documentation and structured investigation. Our aim is not to begin with an explanation, but to build a reliable record of what occurs, the conditions in which it occurs and whether observations can be corroborated or repeated.

Current Research

Lilliput Doll Museum Longitudinal Study

Lilliput Doll Museum in Brading, Isle of Wight

Our principal research project is a long-term investigation at Lilliput Doll Museum in Brading, Isle of Wight. By returning to the same location across multiple sessions, we can compare environmental readings, recordings, equipment observations and independently documented experiences rather than relying on a single investigation.

The project is intended to develop a structured body of evidence over time. No conclusion is assumed in advance, and sessions in which nothing unusual is recorded remain part of the dataset.

How We Work

Methods vary according to the location and research question, but our work is built around several consistent principles.

01 • Document the Environment

We record relevant conditions and potential sources of interference so unusual observations can be considered in context.

02 • Record Independently

Where appropriate, initial experiences are recorded before group discussion to reduce the risk of one account influencing another.

03 • Measure & Observe

Equipment responses are recorded as events to examine. They are not treated as proof of a paranormal cause on their own.

04 • Compare & Repeat

Repeated visits and structured experiments help us look for patterns, differences and effects that may—or may not—occur again.

05 • Keep Negative Results

Sessions without unusual activity are retained. They provide comparison data and are part of the research record, not failed investigations.

Research Records & Updates

Research updates will be published as projects develop. These may include methodology notes, session summaries, descriptions of experiments and later analyses of patterns within the accumulated data.

Raw working records, original notebooks and independently completed observation forms remain part of the internal research archive. Public reports will distinguish between contemporaneous observations, later analysis and any conclusions that can reasonably be drawn from the available evidence.

AS THE RESEARCH DEVELOPS

Findings & Publications

This area will contain analysed findings and longer research reports when sufficient data has been collected and reviewed. We will not publish a conclusion simply because an investigation produced an unusual experience or equipment response.

Where findings remain uncertain, they will be presented as uncertain. Where an ordinary explanation is identified, that will be recorded too.
