Lilliput Doll Museum Paranormal Investigations
A Location We Return To
In the historic town of Brading on the Isle of Wight, Lilliput Doll Museum provides DAW Paranormal with an unusual setting for both public paranormal investigations and longer-term research. Rather than approaching the location with predetermined conclusions, we investigate with curiosity, controlled methods and an open but questioning mind.
DAW Paranormal has investigated Lilliput on a number of occasions. The museum environment allows us to return to the same spaces, repeat methods and compare observations between visits rather than treating each investigation as an isolated experience.
Reported Activity & What We Have Observed
Reported experiences associated with the museum have included footsteps, knocks, unusual smells and occasional voices. These reports provide areas for investigation, but we do not assume that an unusual experience has a paranormal cause. Environmental conditions, equipment behaviour and ordinary explanations are considered alongside anything we cannot readily explain.
During our investigations we have recorded a range of incidents worth further examination. These have included responses involving trigger objects and cat balls, unusual temperature observations examined with thermal imaging, table movement during group experiments, and responses during controlled listening sessions that appeared relevant to information gathered on previous visits.
These observations are not presented as proof of paranormal activity. Our aim is to document what happens, consider conventional explanations and see whether similar effects can be repeated.
The Lilliput Longitudinal Research Project
Lilliput is also the location of a year-long DAW Paranormal case study undertaken by Rachael and Tony. The project uses repeated sessions in the same environment so that observations can be compared over time.
Our research includes baseline observation, environmental measurements, audio and video recording, controlled equipment tests and repeated experimental conditions. Separate notes and structured recording help us distinguish what was actually observed from interpretations made afterwards.
The purpose is not to prove a predetermined belief, but to build a detailed record of what happens at the location and assess patterns, inconsistencies and possible explanations.
How DAW Paranormal Investigates
Our approach combines traditional investigation techniques with modern equipment and simple controls. Depending on the session, equipment may include EMF meters, environmental thermometers, audio recorders, thermal imaging, static cameras, trigger objects and motion or proximity devices.
Equipment does not automatically provide evidence of paranormal activity. We use it as another source of information and look for environmental interference, repeatability, timing and corroboration between different observations wherever possible.

Join a Lilliput Investigation
When public dates are available, DAW Paranormal runs small-group investigations at Lilliput Doll Museum. Guests take an active part rather than simply watching a demonstration. We explain the techniques and equipment being used and encourage participants to question, observe and draw their own conclusions.
